U5-U6 Recreational Soccer (4-6 YEAR OLDS)
with a VOLUNTEER COACH
Birth Year 2012-2011 and advanced 2013's
U5/U6 Teams practice once a week for around 45-60 minutes and have a game on Saturday. Saturday game are small sided 4 v 4 games and are ran by the coaches. Games are fun and non-competivite and do not focus on results.
Season last around 7-8 weeks.
Coaches will be volunteer coaches. Please thank them for their time and energy throughout the season!
If you select a program with a volunteer coach, the volunteer coaches will notify you once your team is formed for your practice time, day, location.
Practice Information: Volunteer coaches will notify the families of the practice time, location, day.
Ref Fee: There are NO ref fee for U5/U6
Uniform: The team will decide to do the club uniform or their own uniform top at their practice or team meeting.
Equipment
Shoes: 2-6 year olds closed-toe shoes or soccer shoes. 6 years and older soccer shoes.
Shin-Guards: Shin-Guards are required for all children in U5 and older.
Soccer Ball: Some coaches provide soccer balls and others don’t. Either way, purchasing a soccer ball is highly recommended as it allows players to train individually. U5-U6 will use a size 3 soccer ball.
Water Bottle: It is important for every player to stay hydrated during games and practices. We recommend water during practices and games. Please save sport drinks for after practice/games.
